In the past three years,<\/mark> Asake <\/strong>and Magicsticks <\/strong>have combined to give Nigerian music a working formula<\/mark><\/a> (Amapiano fusion) that has <\/mark>generously fed the mainstream and minted new stars.\u00a0\u00a0<\/mark><\/a><\/p>\n<\/section>\n

While Asake’s vibrant log drum fusion is still largely the dominant sound in the Nigerian soundscape, there has been some diminishing return in Amapiano exploration since 2024.<\/mark><\/p>\n<\/section>\n
