Latvian airline airBaltic and India\u2019s national airline Air India have announced a new partnership with the signing of a Special Prorate Agreement (SPA) to boost travel options between the Baltics and India.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The agreement was signed during the 81st International Air Transport Association (IATA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) in New Delhi.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a statement issued by airBaltic on June 3, 2025, the airline said the partnership will enable both airlines to \u201csell connecting tickets that include flights operated by each other, allowing for seamless travel between Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and India.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The airline said the agreement expands the route networks of both carriers and enhances travel convenience for passengers by offering more flexible and connected itineraries between these regions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On June 2, 2025, Air India has formed codeshare agreements with Icelandair and Air Mauritius. Through the deal with Icelandair, passengers from both airlines will have access to 15 routes between India and Europe, while the partnership with Air Mauritius includes 17 routes across India, Mauritius, La R\u00e9union, South Africa, and Madagascar.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
