The decision to pull the US out of WHO was\u00a0declared by President Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0in January.\u00a0 The following month, Argentine President Javier Milei announced his country would also be withdrawing from WHO. \u00a0The Argentine government justified its departure in\u00a0a statement earlier this week<\/a>, saying that WHO\u2019s prescriptions do not work because they are not based on science but on political interests and bureaucratic structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
