MAFS Family Shocker: Vincent Morales and Briana Myles Set to Divorce After Paternity Revelation

Vincent Morales and Briana Myles, a fan-favorite couple from Married at First Sight Season 12, are reportedly heading for divorce just four years after their televised wedding in 2021. The couple, who welcomed their second child, Kai Myles Morales, in November 2024, faced a devastating blow when Vincent discovered through a paternity test that one of their children is not biologically his. Sources close to the couple reveal that this revelation has shattered their once-strong bond, leading to irreconcilable differences. The news has stunned fans, who admired the couple’s journey from strangers to parents of two.

The couple’s marriage initially appeared solid, with Vincent and Briana celebrating the birth of their daughter, Aury Bella, in January 2023, followed by Kai’s arrival last year. They often shared glimpses of their family life on social media, showcasing holidays and cozy moments with their children and dog, Cookie. However, tensions reportedly arose after Vincent grew suspicious about Kai’s paternity due to inconsistencies in timelines and physical traits. A DNA test confirmed his fears, revealing that Kai is not his biological son, which sources say led to a breakdown in trust that the couple couldn’t overcome.

Vincent, who once spoke of their “strong foundation” and dreams of celebrating decades together, is said to be heartbroken and has initiated divorce proceedings. Sources indicate that he feels betrayed, especially given their public commitment to transparency and teamwork in marriage. Briana, on the other hand, has remained silent on the matter, but insiders claim she’s devastated by the unraveling of their family. The couple’s split marks a stark contrast to their earlier optimism, with Vincent previously telling E! News in 2023 that he had “no doubt” they’d reach 50 years of marriage.

The paternity issue has sparked speculation about Briana’s fidelity during their marriage, though no concrete evidence of infidelity has surfaced. Some fans on social media have questioned whether the stress of public life and parenting might have strained their relationship, leading to misunderstandings. Others have criticized the lack of pre-marital groundwork in MAFS relationships, pointing to the show’s 59% divorce rate by Decision Day across its history as evidence of its challenges. The couple’s situation echoes broader MAFS trends, where trust issues and external pressures often lead to marital breakdowns.

Regarding asset division, Vincent may seek a larger share due to the emotional toll of the paternity revelation, potentially arguing that he invested in a family under false pretenses. With two young children and a shared public brand, their assets—likely including earnings from MAFS spin-offs and social media ventures—could be contentious. General divorce trends suggest the higher earner, possibly Vincent given his public-facing role, might face demands from Briana if she sacrificed career opportunities to focus on family. However, their short marriage and limited joint wealth might minimize financial disputes.

As the divorce unfolds, fans are left reeling from the downfall of one of MAFS’s success stories. The couple has requested privacy during this difficult time, focusing on co-parenting Aury Bella and Kai despite the paternity controversy. This split underscores the fragility of relationships formed under the MAFS experiment, leaving many to wonder if the show’s format can truly foster lasting love amidst such intense scrutiny and unexpected challenges.
