{"id":268667,"date":"2025-06-02T13:39:15","date_gmt":"2025-06-02T13:39:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/activist\/adam-back-said-its-still-early-for-the-retail-investors-to-buy-bitcoin\/"},"modified":"2025-06-02T13:39:15","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T13:39:15","slug":"adam-back-said-its-still-early-for-the-retail-investors-to-buy-bitcoin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=268667","title":{"rendered":"Adam Back Said It\u2019s Still Early For the Retail Investors To Buy Bitcoin"},"content":{"rendered":" \r\n<br><div>\n\n                                        \n\n\n<p><em>The head of firmwide research of Galaxy Digital Alex Thorn, founder and managing partner of Pantera Capital Dan Morehead, managing partner, CEO, CIO of 10T Holdings + 1RoundTable Partners Dan Tapiero and the Co-founder &amp; CEO of Blockstream Adam Back discussed the future of Bitcoin treasury companies.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinmagazine.com\/conference\/bitcoin-conference-2025-las-vegas-livestream-day-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2025 Bitcoin Conference<\/a>\u00a0in Las Vegas, the Head of Firmwide Research at Galaxy Digital Alex Thorn, Founder and Managing Partner of Pantera Capital Dan Morehead, Managing Partner, CEO, CIO of 10T Holdings + 1RoundTable Partners Dan Tapiero and the Co-founder &amp; CEO of Blockstream Adam Back discussed the future of Bitcoin treasury companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dan Tapiero started by sharing his opinion on how he sees Bitcoin in comparison to gold:\u00a0<\/p><div class=\"g g-1\"><div class=\"g-single a-8\"><a class=\"gofollow\" data-track=\"OCwxLDEsNjA=\" href=\"https:\/\/www.empshield.com\/?coupon=macro\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/EMP-SHIELD-BANNER-400x400-1.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI really have always believed in that physical ownership that the individual has the right and should be able to own his own asset and so I started this physical gold business years ago,\u201d said Tapiero. \u201cI think our focus today is further adoption and the elevation of Bitcoin. I think the understanding of Bitcoin as an important asset.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adam Back was asked what he thought about\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinmagazine.com\/guides\/what-is-bitcoin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bitcoin<\/a>\u00a0treasury companies and he responded, \u201cin effect, Blockstream is one of the first Bitcoin treasury companies. We have been around since 2014 and we work with our investors to put Bitcoin in a balance sheet back then and since then. I think the way to look at the treasury companies is Bitcoin is effectively the harder rate. It\u2019s very hard to outperform Bitcoin most people that invest in things since Bitcoin around thought I should put that in Bitcoin and not in the other thing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then Adam continued by explaining what treasury companies do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s why you get companies switching to the Bitcoin standard because it\u2019s the only way for them to keep up with Bitcoin,\u201d stated Back. \u201dThey start with a Bitcoin capital base.
