It\u2019s the latest offering from Campania\u2019s Feudi di San Gregorio, owned by the Capaldo family, which has 740 acres of vineyards throughout the region, planted to varietals such as Aglianico, Falanghina, Greco di Tufo, and Fiano di Avellino.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Retired baseball legend David Ortiz has entered the spirits business with Ozama, a new rum brand distilled in the Dominican Republic. The brand is launching with three expressions\u2014Blanco, A\u00f1ejo, and Gran A\u00f1ejo\u2014all bottled at 40% abv and made from Dominican sugarcane. 2% of Ozama\u2019s profits will be dedicated to cleaning up the rum\u2019s namesake river and the surrounding communities. To launch the brand, Ortiz partnered with Drink2Success, led by industry veteran and former Avaline CEO Abbott Wolfe.
