Today was our first build day. The first house we stopped at is almost finished. The site foreman is getting a knee replacement tomorrow and we helped clean up the site and finish a few tasks in the house. Here\u2019s a picture of the house where we worked.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We moved all of the leftover materials to the curb.<\/p>\n

Next, we split into 2 groups. One group installed the shelves in the kitchen cabinets, finished putting up the fixtures, caulked doors, windows, and molding, and cleaned inside the house for the homeowner to move in.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n
The second group worked on expanding a deck and repairing a wheelchair ramp. They were not able to complete the job but they did complete most of the work. Local volunteers will finish the job.\u00a0<\/p>\n
