Deus Ex Machina<\/em><\/strong> is a captivating sonic journey that showcases Richard Hamilton<\/em><\/strong>\u2018s<\/em> many years of sound design experience.<\/p>\n\u2018Deus Ex Machina\u2019 is used in film making or storytelling when \u2018a seemingly unsolvable problem in a story is suddenly or abruptly resolved by an unexpected and unlikely occurence\u2019.<\/em> It originated in the ancient Greek theatre, \u2018where actors who were playing gods were brought on stage using a machine\u2019<\/em> (Wikipedia<\/a>).<\/p>\nThe music on Hamilton<\/em><\/strong>\u2018s<\/em> album is full of \u2018unexpected occurrences indeed. Each track tells a story \u2018that revolves around a sci-fi dystopian mood and imagines a far future dystopia relating to ideas of technology, religion, and mystical experiences [\u2026] dealing with themes through the sonic lens of four of the world\u2019s major religions (Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism.\u2019<\/em>
