GST Tax Officers in Kerala Raided Centres Where Fake Diesel Was Produced and Sold<\/strong><\/p>\n On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in Thiruvananthapuram,<\/strong> the Kerala GST officers<\/strong> administered a raid and caught 50 centres<\/strong> in the state doing production and sale of fake diesel.<\/strong><\/p>\n The awareness and compliance unit of the GST department, including more than 400 officers,<\/strong> conducted the raid in the state. In some areas, the utilisation of fake diesel has increased, mainly in the fishermen community in Kerala.<\/strong> The reason behind it is that the supplier found the fake diesel cheaper in comparison to the real one, and they found it easy to sell.<\/p>\n This fake diesel is now also being used by individuals who use it to run their machines.
