R\u00e9my Cointreau Names Consumer Goods Veteran Franck Marilly As CEO<\/h2>\n

\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMay 28, 2025<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

R\u00e9my Cointreau has appointed consumer goods veteran Franck Marilly as its new CEO, effective June 25. He succeeds Eric Vallat, who announced he was stepping down last month.<\/p>\n

Marilly has three decades of experience in the consumer goods sector, including key roles with Unilever, Chanel, and Japan\u2019s Shiseido, where he was most recently president and CEO of the EMEA region and the global fragrance division.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis in-depth knowledge of international environments, his successful track record, and his inspiring leadership will be key assets that will enable him to meet the challenges ahead,\u201d said R\u00e9my chairwoman Marie-Am\u00e9lie de Leusse. \u201cWe are convinced that he will bring a new dynamic and will be able to confidently address the new challenges of the group\u2019s growth in a complex macroeconomic and geopolitical context.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marilly takes the helm at R\u00e9my as the company continues to battle challenges in the global Cognac market. Globally, R\u00e9my saw sales fall 18% to \u20ac985 million ($1.1b) for its full fiscal year ended in March, impacted by conditions in China and destocking in the Americas over the first three quarters of the year. Still, R\u00e9my said its U.S. sales turned positive in its fiscal fourth quarter, as both its Cognac and Liqueurs & Spirits divisions benefited from increases in depletions against soft comps from the previous year.\u2014Daniel Marsteller<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
