The official gazette notification dated<strong> May 20, 2025<\/strong>, outlines the<strong> revised list of documents<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The lab tests are <strong>outsourced<\/strong> to another company, and the tests are run by <strong>government hospitals<\/strong>, <strong>polyclinics<\/strong>, <strong>Delhi government dispensaries<\/strong>, and <strong>AamAadmiMohalla<\/strong> <strong>Clinics<\/strong> in <strong>Delhi<\/strong> to check the <strong>patient\u2019s health<\/strong>. The tests are<strong> free of cost<\/strong> for the patients, which means that the patients do not have to pay any amount to avail this service. The Delhi government bears the lab test cost from its <strong>consolidated funds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3 id=\"1\">Revised Documents for Free Laboratory Tests<\/h3>\n<p>As per the <strong>official e-gazette notification<\/strong>, to avail the free lab test scheme, the individual must submit proof of having an <strong>Aadhaar number<\/strong> or <strong>undergo Aadhaar authentication<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If you do not have an Aadhaar number or have not enrolled for Aadhaar, then you must make an<strong> application<\/strong> for <strong>Aadhaar enrollment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>For Children Who Do not Have an Aadhaar Number<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Here is the list of documents you can submit if your child does not have an Aadhaar number.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(a) Aadhaar Enrolment Identification slip<\/strong>, or a <strong>biometric update identification slip<\/strong>, and any one of the following documents:<\/p>\n<p>1. <strong>Birth Certificate<\/strong> or Record of birth issued by a recognised authority, or<br \/>2. <strong>School identity card<\/strong>, signed by the principal of the school, having parents\u2019 names; and<br \/>3. Any one of the following documents as proof of the<strong> relationship<\/strong> of the child with the parent or legal guardian:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Birth Certificate<\/strong> or <strong>Record of birth<\/strong> issued by the appropriate authority, or<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ration Card<\/strong> or<\/li>\n<li>Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme<strong> (ECHS) Card <\/strong>or<\/li>\n<li>Employees\u2019 State Insurance Corporation (<strong>ESIC<\/strong>) <strong>Card<\/strong> or Central Government Health Scheme (<strong>CGHS<\/strong>) <strong>Card<\/strong> or<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pension Card<\/strong> or<\/li>\n<li><strong>Army Canteen Card<\/strong> or<\/li>\n<li>Any <strong>Government Family Entitlement Card<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For Beneficiaries Other Than Children Who Do Not Have an Aadhaar Number<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Persons other than children can submit the following documents to avail of the benefit of the free laboratory test scheme.<\/p>\n<p>(a) <strong>Aadhaar Enrolment Identification slip<\/strong> and<\/p>\n<p>(b) any <strong>one<\/strong> of the<strong> following documents<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bank or Post office Passbook<\/strong> with Photo or<\/li>\n<li>Permanent Account Number (<strong>PAN<\/strong>) <strong>Card<\/strong> or<\/li>\n<li><strong>Passport<\/strong> or<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ration Card<\/strong> or<\/li>\n<li><strong>Voter Identity Card<\/strong> or<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kisan Photo passbook<\/strong> or<\/li>\n<li><strong>Driving license<\/strong> issued by the Licensing Authority under the <strong>Motor Vehicles Act, 1988<\/strong> (59 of 1988).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As per the notification, the above-mentioned documents must be <strong>verified by an officer<\/strong> who has been specially appointed by the Department for this purpose.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"background: #000; \">\n<p>Join StudyCafe Membership.
