I love the programming at the Columbus Commons during the warmer months, from the concerts to the family days to the fitness classes, but I especially love the weekly lineup of food trucks<\/a>. Thursday at lunch is the Food Truck Food Court, and Wednesdays is \u2013 wait for it \u2013 Breakfast at the Commons!<\/p>\n

Breakfast at the Commons is every Wednesday from May through October, 8 a.m. to noon. This year they\u2019ve added a couple new trucks to their lineup.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n

So now you\u2019ll find everything from donuts to French toast, coffee to smoothies, breakfast sandwiches to burritos.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n

New this year \u2013 at least for breakfast \u2013 is Dos Hermanos!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n

They\u2019ve added a simple menu of breakfast tacos, a quesadilla, burrito, or bowl, plus sides of breakfast potatoes and chorizo potatoes.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n

I hadn\u2019t had Dos Hermanos\u2019 breakfast before, so I ordered up a breakfast burrito with eggs, potatoes, two types of cheese, bacon bits and chorizo, avocado, peppers, and onions. It was big enough that I didn\u2019t need lunch that day!<\/p>\n

Another new addition is Sunny Sips, a cute little trailer that does smoothies, refreshers, matcha, and iced coffee. We\u2019re familiar with them from the Worthington Farmers Market, so I snagged an iced coffee to go with my breakfast.<\/p>\n

Returning this year is Roaming Rooster, which serves breakfast sandwiches (including a breakfast smashburger), bowls, and French toast nuggets with sweet and savory toppings.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n

Last year I enjoyed their Fried\u2019Tatta breakfast sandwich and a side of their POT (potatoes, onions, peppers) mix.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n

Biscuit Boss has also become a staple of Breakfast at the Commons.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n

True to their name, their signature is biscuits, from a variety of biscuit sandwiches to biscuits and gravy. It\u2019s hard to forget their Bodacious breakfast sandwich, with a little bit of everything plus a heavy drizzle of maple syrup.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n

And Donna\u2019s Delicious Dozen is a regular, bringing their made-to-order mini donuts with a variety of fun toppings.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n

They also serve up Crimson Cup coffee to go with your donuts.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n

On my latest visit I tried the Feelin\u2019 Fruitylicious and The Mitch with vanilla icing, bacon, and caramel drizzle.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n

Breakfast at the Commons is every Wednesday, May through October, from 8 a.m. to noon.<\/p>\n
