Color One Sheet Completely<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Give each student a piece of paper and have them <strong>heavily color one side<\/strong> with crayon. Bright, bold colors work best. They can create a rainbow pattern, blocks of color, or just cover the page in one color. The key is to press firmly and fill the page with thick crayon layers.  I tell them to \u201cuse your muscles\u201d to color as hard as you can without breaking the crayon. Sandwich the Papers<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"\">Place a clean white sheet of paper on top of the crayon-covered one. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">You could lightly tape the corners to keep the pages from shifting while drawing, but this isn\u2019t necessary.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Draw a Design<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"\">Using a <strong>ballpoint pen<\/strong>, have students draw a design on the top (blank) sheet. You could make motivational banners (like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artisbasic.com\/2016\/10\/create-a-create-banner.html\">this \u201cCreate\u201d one<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artisbasic.com\/2015\/09\/easy-collaborative-art-banners-with-motivational-words.html\">these positive words<\/a>) to hang in the school at the beginning of next year.  Just write out the words or phrases in large block letters using paint, ink daubers or Kwik Stix.
