Their combined expertise in media, hospitality, and brand advocacy ensured the winning serve excelled not just in technique, but in creativity, storytelling, and relevance to the modern aperitivo moment.<\/p>\n<p>Now in its seventh year, the global competition continues to honour bartenders as creative visionaries while celebrating the Italian art of aperitivo. This year\u2019s brief tasked competitors with reimagining the Spritz\u2014a format that continues to evolve and dominate menus as the global appetite for lighter, lower-ABV, and occasion-driven serves grows rapidly.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/barmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/4-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-62185\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<p>Speaking after her win, Bulatovskaja commented:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt feels fantastic. I didn\u2019t expect it \u2014 it\u2019s a very exciting feeling and I\u2019m so grateful. From the application process to the final, it\u2019s been a rewarding journey, and there\u2019s still so much to take from the experience. On a professional level, it\u2019s an amazing opportunity, and personally, it means a lot to represent my team and our creativity on an international stage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bulatovskaja will now go on to represent the UK at the Art of ITALICUS Global Final, taking place on 7 July 2025 at the Blue Gin Bar in Monaco, where she will compete alongside national champions from the USA, France, Italy, Spain, Hong Kong, Germany, New Zealand, Hungary and a Wild Card entrant. The global winner will be crowned ITALICUS Bar Artist of the Year 2025, receiving a &nbsp;mentorship programme and gaining access to key international bar events, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with Lorenzo Antinori, founder of Bar Leone (Asia\u2019s Best Bar 2024, #2 globally).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Winning Cocktail: \u2018Da Punto A Dotto\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/barmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/5-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-62186\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<p>Inspired by the work of Japanese contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama and her signature dotted art, Bulatovskaja\u2019s serve reflects a synergy between Kusama\u2019s avant-garde style and the ritual of Italian aperitivo.
