Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) announced that it has officially obtained the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) certification, becoming the first airline group in Malaysia to do so.<\/p>\n

The airline said that the certification highlights its commitment to zero tolerance for bribery, fraud, and corruption within the organization.<\/p>\n

The airline said the certification process was strongly supported by MAG\u2019s Board of Directors and Group Executive Committee, and included a detailed corruption risk assessment, the formation of a dedicated Working Group Committee, and the development of the ABMS framework.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This was complemented by 16 training sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns rolled out across key business functions to embed the principles of integrity throughout the organization.<\/p>\n

MAG Group Managing Director, Datuk Captain Izham Ismail emphasized that the certification is \u201cnot just a formality.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c[The certification] is a firm declaration of our zero-tolerance stance against bribery, fraud, and corruption. ISO 37001 reinforces the controls we have built into every part of our operations, from procurement and policymaking,\u201d Ismail said.<\/p>\n
