Is anyone surprised or disappointed that English Minister of Foreign Affairs, David Lammy (seen above with Israeli President, Herzog) has offered up not a word of concern about Tibet, or the plight of Tibetans, during his visit to China?<\/p>\n

The man who defended and excused the denial of food, water, and medical supplies to Palestinians in Gaza, while Israel carpet-bombed civilians. Lammy\u2019s tolerance (like that of the US Administration\u2019s) of war crimes and mass slaughter was an inevitable indicator that his dealings with the Chinese dictatorship was always going to be as the nauseating diplomatic phrases has it, \u2018pragmatic\u2019. Commercial interests, as ever, are at the heart of foreign relations.<\/p>\n

But his appalling silence on the oppression of Tibetans, and cultural genocide they suffer, was predictable. It\u2019s also reflective, of what\u2019s was recognized and exposed in 2021 by Anonymous Tibet, as a deterioration of interest within the English political establishment on the matter Tibet.<\/p>\n
