{"id":250512,"date":"2025-05-21T13:43:06","date_gmt":"2025-05-21T13:43:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/activist\/volcom-teams-up-with-bob-mollema-for-the-latest-in-its\/"},"modified":"2025-05-21T13:43:06","modified_gmt":"2025-05-21T13:43:06","slug":"volcom-teams-up-with-bob-mollema-for-the-latest-in-its","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=250512","title":{"rendered":"Volcom teams up with Bob Mollema for the latest in its\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tcocdn.com\/tco\/images\/Huck\/A0412513_LBG_LIFESTYLE_22_BENOIT-RENAUX-CREDITS.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Action sports clothing and lifestyle brand <a href=\"https:\/\/www.volcom.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Volcom<\/a> has teamed up with Bob Mollema for the latest in its Featured Artist Series.<\/p>\n<p>The clothing capsule collection features his bold cartoon illustrations printed on top of t-shirts, jackets, shorts, shirts and more, in a range of colours from black and white to bright green.<\/p>\n<p>It marks the second time that the Dutch illustrator has created a collection for Volcom as part of the series, with the brand hosting a live show at Atabal in Biarritz today (May 21) to celebrate, featuring live art making, band performances and more.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Bennekom in 1990, Mollema\u2019s work draws inspiration from ancient mythology and nature, while blending them with modern techniques.<\/p>\n<p>In a 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wastedtalentmag.com\/blog\/2022\/09\/04\/in-conversation-with-bob-mollema\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">interview<\/a> with <em>Wasted Talent Magazine<\/em>, which followed his first series for Volcom, Mollema said: \u201cI care a lot about nature, and I am into pop culture, reading and making music.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy work and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huckmag.com\/topic\/music\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">music<\/a> consist of endless references and associations that originate from images, mythology, history or pop culture,\u201d he continued. \u201cThat is also one of my convictions; as artists, we must build on each other and bread down our walls. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huckmag.com\/topic\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Art<\/a>, in whatever form, is vital to the world and our relationship with the unknown. Art is blood cells for the world!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 1991, Volcom has grown to become a leading brand across <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huckmag.com\/topic\/surfing\">surfing<\/a>, skateboarding and snowboarding.
