We are monitoring storms near the Mississippi River that will push southeast through the day. They could reach West Alabama around Sumter and Pickens counties by 3-4 p.m., pushing into Greene and Hale counties during the late afternoon. While they are expected to weaken, we all know that recent storms have been forecast to do the same…and haven’t.

As we always say when it comes to thunderstorms: expect the unexpected.

Category: Alabama’s Weather, ALL POSTS, Severe Weather, Social Media

Bill Murray is the President of The Weather Factory.
