The address will also be streamed globally via Bitcoin Magazine\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@BitcoinMagazine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">media channels<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BitcoinMagazine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">X account<\/a>.<\/p><div class=\"g g-1\"><div class=\"g-single a-20\"><a class=\"gofollow\" data-track=\"MjAsMSwxLDYw\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mypatriotsupply.com\/collections\/emergency-survival-food?_ef_transaction_id=&amp;uid=22&amp;oid=1&amp;affid=509\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"850\" height=\"500\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/MPS-Ad-1.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In making this address, VP Vance will become the first ever U.S. vice president to make a public address in support of Bitcoin. His appearance at the Bitcoin conference comes one year after the President Trump\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=9UxAUryUKXM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">delivered a historic speech<\/a>\u00a0at Bitcoin 2024 in Nashville, TN while he was still on the campaign trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is more than a headline moment \u2014 it\u2019s a signal,\u201d said David Bailey, CEO of BTC Inc. \u201cBitcoin is the most exciting financial innovation in the world. It\u2019s at the forefront of the national conversation\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And given that his financial disclosures show that his personal bitcoin holdings range from $250,000 to $500,000 in value, the address will not just be coming from the Vice President of the United States, but a Bitcoiner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his time in the U.S. Senate, VP Vance\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2024\/06\/26\/vance-crypto-00164859\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">advocated for Bitcoin<\/a>, as he took a clear stand against regulatory overreach and pushed to redefine how the U.S. government interacts with open-source money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He\u2019s also been critical of current SEC leadership and vocal about the dangers of centralized financial control \u2014 pointing to events like\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JDVance\/status\/1493575391457517568\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Canada\u2019s 2022 bank account freezes<\/a>\u00a0as examples of why Bitcoin matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his address at Bitcoin 2025, he is expected to focus on innovation, financial\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinmagazine.com\/technical\/10-steps-to-self-sovereignty-with-bitcoin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sovereignty<\/a>, and how Bitcoin plays a role in a more resilient American future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is a historic moment for Bitcoin,\u201d said Brandon Green, co-organizer of Bitcoin 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are beyond honored to host the Vice President at the world\u2019s largest Bitcoin conference.
