Let\u2019s take a look at what might happen next.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reef Factory<\/strong>, a Polish company specializing in smart devices for marine aquariums, has recently filed for <strong>bankruptcy.<\/strong>\u00a0The news has been confirmed by official sources, including Poland\u2019s\u00a0<em>Krajowy Rejestr Zad\u0142u\u017conych <\/em>(National Debtors Register), where the insolvency proceedings have been officially recorded.<\/p>\n<p>The company, founded in 2019, quickly gained traction in the aquarium industry thanks to a range of innovative products, including smart dosing pumps, water parameter monitoring systems, and the Smart Reef app for remote aquarium management. In 2022, <strong>Reef Factory<\/strong> secured <strong>\u20ac3 million<\/strong> in funding from Polish investors with the goal of expanding further into the global market. Reef Factory\u2019s liabilities in 2023 amounted to\u00a0<strong>PLN 8,742,740<\/strong>\u00a0(about \u20ac2 million), while the total value of assets stood at\u00a0<strong>PLN 15,118,870<\/strong>\u00a0(roughly \u20ac3.5 million). This gives a debt-to-asset ratio of\u00a0<strong>58%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s clear that <strong>Reef Factory<\/strong> users are extremely concerned at this point\u2014especially because the entire system operates in the cloud, raising fears that none of the devices will continue to function if service is interrupted.<\/p>\n<p>But let\u2019s take a step back.\u00a0<strong>Protasewicz Marek<\/strong>, the owner of Reef Factory, recently posted a message in the\u00a0<em>Reef Factory Family<\/em>\u00a0Facebook group stating:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cHi team,<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Please rest assured: the servers are safe and will continue to operate.
