Shipments grew 13per cent sequentially.<\/p>\n<p><!-- PROMOSLOT_M -->Samsung led with a 34per cent share last quarter, a 6per cent on-year increase. Apple followed with a 21per cent share, reporting an 18per cent growth in tablet shipments, while third-ranked Lenovo held a 19per cent share, notching a 31per cent growth.<\/p>\n<p>Xiaomi and OnePlus took the fourth and fifth spots, with 16per cent and 5per cent marketshare respectively. Among the top five, Xiaomi grew the fastest at 59per cent on-year, led by premium offerings.<\/p>\n<p><!-- PROMOSLOT_M -->According to CMR, the premium tablet segment expanded by 41per cent on-year in the March quarter, while the 5G segment gained traction, getting a 43per cent share.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Indian tablet market delivered a robust performance in Q1 2025, underpinned by strong premium segment growth and rising 5G adoption,&#8221; said Menka Kumari, senior analyst (industry intelligence group), CMR. &#8220;Brands like Samsung, Apple, Lenovo and Xiaomi capitalised on evolving consumer expectations with differentiated offerings across price tiers.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>CMR has forecast a 10-15per cent growth for the tablet market in 2025. <\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Xiaomi and Lenovo continue to anchor the value segment, though geopolitical factors may impact pricing and supply.
