{"id":241052,"date":"2025-05-14T07:40:22","date_gmt":"2025-05-14T07:40:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/aerospace\/bell-textron-builds-6000th-helicopter-at-quebec-facility\/"},"modified":"2025-05-14T07:40:22","modified_gmt":"2025-05-14T07:40:22","slug":"bell-textron-builds-6000th-helicopter-at-quebec-facility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=241052","title":{"rendered":"Bell Textron builds 6,000th helicopter at Quebec facility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Bell Textron Canada has announced the completion of its 6,000th commercial aircraft at its Mirabel Aerospace Centre\u00a0in Quebec.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The milestone was marked on May 12, 2025, at the Mirabel facility, where employees and guests gathered to commemorate the event, the company said in a statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur 6,000th helicopter built in Canada demonstrates our commitment to manufacturing helicopters capable of performing the most critical missions,\u201d said Michael Nault, General Manager of Bell Textron Canada. \u201cIt is therefore a strong symbol that this aircraft wears the colors of the S\u00fbret\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The delivery includes two Subaru Bell 412EPX utility helicopters for the Government of Quebec. The aircraft will be delivered to the Minist\u00e8re des Transports et de la Mobilit\u00e9 durable, which manages a fleet of aircraft through the Service A\u00e9rien Gouvernemental (SAG).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur police helicopter services, including search and rescue, are offered throughout Quebec thanks to our valuable partnership with the Minist\u00e8re des Transports et de la Mobilit\u00e9 durable, particularly with the General Directorate of the SAG,\u201d said Madame Liette Abel Normandin, Senior Director of Strategy and Institutional Affairs and member of the S\u00fbret\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s senior management team.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to the company, the two Subaru Bell 412EPXs will be used for missions ranging from search and rescue across forested and mountainous terrain to crew and equipment transport, flood evacuations, aerial surveillance, and tactical operations.
