{"id":236533,"date":"2025-05-11T13:11:25","date_gmt":"2025-05-11T13:11:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/aerospace\/airspace-restrictions-soften-after-india-pakistan-ceasefire\/"},"modified":"2025-05-11T13:11:25","modified_gmt":"2025-05-11T13:11:25","slug":"airspace-restrictions-soften-after-india-pakistan-ceasefire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=236533","title":{"rendered":"Airspace restrictions soften after India-Pakistan ceasefire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Airspace restrictions put in place by Pakistan and Indian governments have begun to soften following a ceasefire in hostilities over the weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On May 10, 2025, <a href=\"https:\/\/paa.gov.pk\/\" title=\"\">Pakistan Airports Authority<\/a> (PAA) announced that its airspace has been \u201cfully restored for all types of flights\u201d, therefore cancelling a previous Notice to Airmen\u00a0(NOTAM) that it would remain closed until 12:00, local time, on May 11, 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll airports across the country are operational and available for normal flight operations. Passengers are advised to contact their respective airlines for updated flight schedules,\u201d said PAA.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"article-leaderboard bn-1\"\/>\n<p>According to local media despite the easing of restrictions, a ban on Indian aircraft remains in place and Pakistan flights are still not free to enter India.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On April 24, 2025,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aerotime.aero\/articles\/pakistan-airspace-closure-indian-airlines\" title=\"\">Pakistan\u00a0announced that its airspace would immediately close<\/a> to \u201cIndian owned or Indian operated airlines\u201d leaving carriers such as Air India and IndiGo seeking alternative routes.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Then on May 6, 2025, a NOTAM was issued by Pakistan to advise that its airspace would be closed to all aircraft.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"article-leaderboard bn-2\"\/>\n<p>India and Pakistan agree to a ceasefire on May 10, 2025, as violence between the two nuclear powers erupted in the region.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The breakthrough came following two days of negotiations aided by the United States, involving US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that,\u00a0India\u00a0and Pakistan have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE. Congratulations to both Countries on using Common Sense and Great Intelligence.
