Back in Feb 2025, I was excited to read the news<\/a> that one of my favorite Temptresses from Lakewood<\/a> Brewing<\/strong> would be making a return engagement at mybeerbuzz headquarters. I\u2019m talking about Irish Cream Temptress<\/b>, and since I\u2019m such a huge fan of this beer, I wanted to put this back on your screens. <\/p>\n

As Lakewood\u2019s founder & president puts it, \u201cThis year we\u2019re toasting the luck of the Texan,\u201d said Wim Bens, founder and president of Lakewood Brewing Co. \u201cTemptress is the number one craft stout in Texas, so why shouldn\u2019t Irish Cream Temptress be our number one St. Patrick\u2019s Day stout?\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

The Temptress beers have all become favorites of mine, and of course I love Irish Cream so naturally I can\u2019t wait to try this beer again\u2026so off we go. <\/p>\n

Style:<\/b>\u00a0 Imperial Milk Stout

Appearance:<\/b>\u00a0 Deep brown black
Aroma:<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0 Chocolate, roasty coffee & sweet cream
Mouthfeel:<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0 Robust & silky
Taste:<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0 Dark chocolate, roasty coffee and a quick blast of Irish Cream
Overall:\u00a0 Irish Cream Temptress <\/b>is still one of my favorite beers in the Temptress lineup. It helps that I love Irish Cream, but the beer is much more than just that. Overall, I think the mix of sweet and roasty flavors really makes for a drinkable beer and one I can\u2019t wait to revisit again and again.<\/p>\n
