The ingredient amounts are based on approx. 4 servings per recipe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prep Tips<\/h2>\n<p>Make cooking at the campsite easier by doing these steps at home:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pulled pork sliders:<\/strong> Pulled pork can be made ahead (here\u2019s our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freshoffthegrid.com\/instant-pot-pulled-pork\/\">Instant Pot recipe<\/a>!) or purchased, then reheated in a pot at the campsite.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coleslaw:<\/strong> Chop the veggies for the coleslaw and make the dressing at home. Mix everything together right before leaving or at least 30 minutes before dinner.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chorizo sweet potato hash:<\/strong> Peel and chop the sweet potato.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chicken tzatziki skewers:<\/strong> Cut chicken thighs into skewer-able pieces and prepare the tzatziki (or purchase in-store).<\/li>\n<li><strong>S\u2019mores cookies:<\/strong> Make the cookies and store them in tupperware.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dutch oven French toast:<\/strong> Cut or tear the bread for French toast. You can make the egg\/milk custard, too! Store in a tightly sealed jar and use within two days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Packing Your Cooler<\/h2>\n<p>Knowing how to pack a camp cooler properly is essential when you\u2019re bringing prepped-ahead meals or ingredients. Lucky for you, we have a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freshoffthegrid.com\/how-to-pack-a-cooler\/\">guide to help you master the art of packing a cooler<\/a> to maximize ice retention and keep your food safe. Here are some additional tips for packing this week\u2019s food:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use watertight, resealable containers to store food.<\/li>\n<li>To store herbs like cilantro, gently wrap them in a damp paper towel and store them in a zip-top bag.
