However, all true stories \u2013 and most have happened more than once.  They don\u2019t make my list until we hit at least three instances!  <\/p>\n<p>Family Law Don\u2019ts<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DON\u2019T set your ex\u2019s clothing and personal effects on fire.<\/li>\n<li>DON\u2019T slash all your ex\u2019s clothing and personal effects.<\/li>\n<li>DON\u2019T set your ex\u2019s home on fire or attempt to blow it up.<\/li>\n<li>DON\u2019T use your ex\u2019s clothing for a new litter box before you pack and deliver it.<\/li>\n<li>DON\u2019T cash your retirement account and spend it during your divorce.<\/li>\n<li>DON\u2019T introduce your fianc\u00e9e on Facebook while your divorce is pending.<\/li>\n<li>DON\u2019T discuss your case and child custody matters on Facebook for all your \u201cfriends\u201d to view, screenshot and pass around.  The attorney gets them all!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Criminal Law Don\u2019ts<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DON\u2019T let other people borrow your pants and leave drugs in them. <\/li>\n<li>DON\u2019T buy purses at thrift stores if they really contain drugs.<\/li>\n<li>DON\u2019T cuss out the officer who pulled you over.<br \/>DON\u2019T talk to police about a charge because \u201cinnocent people don\u2019t need attorneys.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>DON\u2019T post videos of your crime to social media.<\/li>\n<li>DON\u2019T post pictures of the drugs you want to sell.<\/li>\n<li>DON\u2019T  call from the jail and discuss your case.  That sign really means all calls are recorded.                                                                     <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One reason I love this job is meeting new people and hearing stories that I could not make up in my wildest imagination.   I never get bored and have entertainment for days.
