Undeniably, that 9% Double IPA you snuck in at Chili\u2019s on your lunch break never turns out well. However, a crushable sub 3% Lager will make those spreadsheets seem like an afternoon walk in the park when you return to the office.<\/span><\/p>\n Like any category in the beer space, it takes more than just good liquid to attract new customers. Clean can art and a bold brand can sway consumer behavior as much as the beer that lies within. Enter chat: Small Beer<\/a>, a big brand brewed up by the creative team behind Chubbies Shorts<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Small Beer lives in the Beer Street Brands family, alongside Goldies Beer<\/a>. Its original recipe was developed with the help of Lincoln Beer Co<\/a> out of Burbank, CA \u2014 shoutout Head Brewer Pat Dunn. As Small Beer got bigger, so to speak, they sought more capacity and are now produced at Prost Brewing<\/a> in Denver, CO, through a contract brewing agreement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cSmall Beer is all about big flavor, low impact,\u201d says Mason Robinson, Small Beer\u2019s Co-Founder. \u201cWe\u2019re taking a digital-first approach to building the brand\u2014using the same playbook we developed at Chubbies: start with a great product (delicious 2\u20133% ABV craft beer), build a rad brand around it that people actually want to be part of, and turn that interest into real-world demand,\u201d Robinson adds. Small Beer\u2019s ultimate goal? To become the name<\/span>\u00a0in low-ABV beer (aka \u201csmall beer\u201d).<\/span><\/p>\n Small Beer pours a pale gold from its simple, yet stunning can. It is pleasantly light in aroma and flavor, as one could expect from a 2.5% ABV, 80-calorie lager. It\u2019s crisp, it\u2019s refreshing.
