Powered by an amazing voice, and taking inspiration from phenomenal singers such as Justin Bieber, Jennifer Hudson, Michael Jackson and Alicia Keys, 14-year-old Nashville-based singer-songwriter James Wimbley wants to make and perform music that resonates with listeners on a deeper level.

Wimbley’s fusion of pop and R&B is best showcased on his just-released second single, “Right In My Heart”. The production on this track seamlessly combines crisp modern beats with winsome guitar melodies to create a romance-driven song that’s as seductive as R&B music of the noughties.

“I had been writing more pop music but always wanted to try R&B,” James says. “I wrote this song about the girl I have a crush on. I wrote it to express how I feel when I am around her. At its heart, this song is a vulnerable love letter to my crush.“

With a huge following across his social media pages, Wimbley has caught the attention of millions of fans online. As he continues to release original material, you can expect his audience to increase even more. Follow James Wimbley on TikTok / Instagram.
