Solaris. Music and Stories inspired by Andrei Tarkowsky’s movie (DL + CD + BOOK)

Presented by Eighth Tower, this project delves into the shadowed heart of Tarkovsky’s Solaris — the science fiction masterpiece (based on Stanisław Lem’s acclaimed novel) where memory, grief, and lost love blur the boundaries of reality. It features a compilation of dark ambient, drone, and experimental music, accompanied by a book containing dark fiction stories and philosophical essays that explore the deep existential questions at the core of the film. Sound and word converge into a mirror of the unknown.

V.A. – Ubikuitous – Music inspired by Philip K. Dick’s dystopias

Philip K. Dick’s narratives are a cornerstone of dystopian literature, delving into complex and unsettling visions of the future where the boundaries of reality blur, personal autonomy is undermined, and humanity is redefined. Unexplained Sounds Group and the contributing musicians pay a heartfelt tribute to the dystopian visions of the great American writer. A guiding light for current and future generations of artists, his work challenges all who seek to uncover the hidden layers beneath the surface of apparent reality.

The Great Old Ones – Lands Of Azathoth (published by Eighth Tower Records, dl + CD): https://eighthtowerrecords.bandcamp.com/album/lands-of-azatoth

The Great Old Ones present “Lands of Azathoth, an exploration into the unfathomable and chaotic core of Lovecraft’s mythos. This third installment, following the albums Yog-Sothoth (2022) and The Mythos of Cthulhu (2023), summons the enigmatic dread of Azathoth, the Blind Idiot God who lies at the heart of the cosmos.
