Apple is expected to announce an ultrathin iPhone 17 Air<\/a> later this year, and the lack of thickness could see the device\u2019s battery life suffer.<\/p>\n Now, a new report claims that we can perhaps see that manifest in the return of Apple\u2019s battery case.<\/p>\n According to The Information<\/em><\/a>, Apple\u2019s internal testing has seen that some users will be able to get through a whole day\u2019s use with an iPhone 17 Air without charging.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It\u2019s said that the number of people who fall into that category is between 60% and 70%, but the same figure for other iPhones comes in as high as 90%. With the iPhone 17 Air set to be just 5.5mm thick, the lack of space for a large battery appears to be an issue, and Apple is aware of the problem already.<\/p>\n So much so, we\u2019re told, that Apple could be ready to bring the MagSafe Battery Pack back to the lineup.
