The June issue of Kodansha<\/a><\/cite>‘s Monthly Shonen Magazine<\/a><\/cite><\/cite> revealed on Wednesday that Atsushi Kase<\/a><\/cite> will launch a new manga titled YakuMan<\/cite> in the magazine’s next issue on June 6.<\/p>\n

The comedy manga centers on Kaede, a tough-looking yakuza, who is also very strong when it comes to fighting. But Kaede has another side that he dare not tell anyone… Kaede is also the famous Moe<\/a><\/cite> manga artist Maple. As he lives a two-faced life, it’s a ruthless battle in the yakuza world and in the world of manga deadlines for Kaede.<\/p>\n

Kase’s Kuro Ageha<\/a><\/cite><\/cite> manga, the spinoff of his Chameleon<\/a><\/cite><\/cite> manga, ended<\/a> with its 20th compiled book volume (image right) in 2023. The manga launched in Monthly Shonen Magazine<\/cite><\/cite> in 2013. <\/p>\n

Kase’s Chameleon<\/cite><\/cite> gag manga about junior delinquents serialized in Weekly Sh\u014dnen Magazine<\/a><\/cite><\/cite> from 1990 to 2000. The manga was adapted into six OVA<\/a><\/cite> episodes which released in Japan from 1992 to 1996.
