According to a release from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdfa.ca.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">California Department of Food and Agriculture<\/a> (CDFA), the government is waging war on invasive Mediterranean fruit flies in sections of Alameda and Santa Clara counties as part of an ongoing eradication campaign.
