A few ads from the past week or so which caught my eye: <\/p>\n Flipkart: SASA LELE<\/strong><\/p>\n The context<\/em>: the \u2018sale ad\u2019 is a tough brief. In most cases, just the percentage off and \u2018amazing deals\u2019 get highlighted. In multi-brand, multi-category aggregator platforms, it\u2019s even tougher as everything \u2018should\u2019 be prioritised \u2013 be it smartphones or fashion. A new ad for Flipkart\u2019s sale has been doing the rounds of social media among marketing & advertising folks on LinkedIn.<\/p>\n Why I like it<\/em>: the ad engineers an idea, even though the idea of a jingle set to a montage is not a new one. Viewing the \u2018Sale! Sale\u2019 blurb as \u2018SaSa LeLe\u2019 and matching it quirky visuals makes it a fun view. The unusual setting and the odd pairings (lungi & TV) keep the interest going. <\/p>\n \n
