Grow the fuck up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not taking a position on Gaza IS taking a position on Gaza. One you\u2019ll have to live with for the rest of your life. One you will be judged by history for. One you will have to explain to your grandkids. Failure to oppose a genocide that your own government is supporting is consenting to the genocidal status quo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If this is the case with you, then that\u2019s a character flaw, and you need to change it. It\u2019s not okay for you to be that way. Knock that shit off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2756<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Israel is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/israel-palestinians-hamas-war-news-ceasefire-hostages-04-22-2025-f8c64015de5f56e97586641d6e32f507\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">destroying the heavy machinery<\/a>\u00a0needed to clear rubble and rescue people trapped under buildings in Gaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><br\/>Countless people have died slow, agonizing deaths\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/news.un.org\/en\/story\/2024\/05\/1149256\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">trapped under destroyed buildings<\/a>\u00a0since this nightmare began. Have you ever taken the time to deeply contemplate that? What a horrifying way to die that is? Being alive but with your body partially crushed, alone and in agony unable to move in the darkness, surrounded by members of your family who are either dead or similarly trapped, possibly for days until you die of dehydration?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe the worst part would be knowing that you\u2019re surrounded by survivors who would like to get you out of there, but can\u2019t because they don\u2019t have the equipment necessary to move the enormous pieces of rubble overtop of you. Knowing you\u2019re trapped, and you\u2019re never getting out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This has happened to people countless times since the beginning of this onslaught in 2023. And Israel is going out of its way to make sure even more people die this way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2756<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>US ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/news.antiwar.com\/2025\/04\/21\/new-us-ambassador-to-israel-backs-israels-total-blockade-on-gaza\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">has rejected<\/a>\u00a0appeals by the World Health Organization to put pressure on Israel to end its starvation blockade on Gaza, saying, \u201cWhat I would like to suggest is that we work together on putting the pressure where it really belongs\u200a\u2014\u200aon Hamas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WHO?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@WHO<\/a> official called upon me to put pressure on Israel to bring more humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza. How about we put the pressure where it really belongs \u2013 on Hamas. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/5AAv5Q63DD\">pic.twitter.com\/5AAv5Q63DD<\/a><\/p>\u2014 Ambassador Mike Huckabee (@USAmbIsrael) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/USAmbIsrael\/status\/1914335973237805553?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 21, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br\/>Huckabee is a fanatical Christian Zionist who\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DecampDave\/status\/1856439018788995203\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">has said<\/a>\u00a0that there is \u201cno such thing as a Palestinian\u201d and that Israel has a right to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fRkV7Pnu4W8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the entirety of the West Bank<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you believe your religion tells you to support the butchery and starvation of the people of Gaza, then your religious beliefs are bad, and you should change them. There\u2019s no point in having a religion if it doesn\u2019t even help you understand that genocide is an inexcusable evil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s too much religious tolerance in our society. If you believe your religion tells you to support an active genocide, then everyone should call you an asshole and tell you to get different beliefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I actually agree with conservatives who say we need to be less tolerant toward people with unwholesome religious beliefs\u200a\u2014\u200aI just disagree about whom that intolerance should be directed toward. It\u2019s not Muslims telling me it\u2019s right to support the Gaza holocaust, it\u2019s Christian Zionists and Jewish Zionists. They belong to death cults which tell them that God wants them to support these profoundly evil things. These death cults should not exist, and anyone who belongs to them should leave. It should not be even slightly controversial to say this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don\u2019t care what you believe about any deity or deities or how we should live or what happens to us after we die. Believe whatever you want as pertains to you and yours.
