The inaugural flight of the Flagship Suites will take place on June 5, traveling from Chicago O\u2019Hare International Airport (ORD) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) as American Flight 2012. It will then return to Chicago to begin regular operations to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) as American Flight 98.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The other three Flagship Suites routes will begin service later in the year. Flagship service will begin from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to London Heathrow on August 6, 2025, followed by Philadelphia to Zurich Airport (ZRH) on September 3. The final route to get Flagship Suite service will roll out on October 26, 2025, with service from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Brisbane Airport (BNE) in Australia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each of the 51 Flagship Suites outfitted on the new 787-9 airframes will feature privacy doors, increased personal storage space, a wireless charging pad, and a chaise lounge seating option. The aircraft will also offer 32 premium economy seats with headrest wings for additional privacy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new aircraft are among a total of 30 the carrier is anticipating adding to their fleet by 2029. With Flagship Suites installed on all new 787-9 and Airbus A321XLR aircraft, and retrofits coming to the Boeing 777-300ER, American expects to increase lie-flat and Premium Economy seating by 50% before 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Are you planning to be on the first flights?
