This enhanced service underscores WestJet Cargo\u2019s commitment to providing reliable and efficient air cargo solutions for businesses in both regions.\u00a0Starting the week of May 19, 2025, the Calgary-Seoul route will increase from three to six flights per week, operating until October 13, 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The route will continue to be served by WestJet\u2019s Boeing 787 Dreamliner, offering a weekly cargo capacity of approximately 130 tons and 480 cubic meters.<\/p>\n<p>Kirsten de Bruijn, Executive Vice-President, Cargo at WestJet, stated: \u201cDoubling our frequencies is a testament to our commitment to strengthening connections between Canada and South Korea. We\u2019re proud to enhance flexibility and capacity, supporting businesses in navigating a dynamic global trade environment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Julius Mooney, Commercial Director, Cargo at WestJet, added: \u201cThis expansion is driven by market demand and designed to provide our partners with greater opportunities for seamless imports and exports. It\u2019s about offering solutions that empower businesses across both regions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This milestone coincides with the first anniversary of the Canada-South Korea connection, which launched on May 17, 2024.
