Under the Freedom of Information Act, please answer the following questions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Question<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Jewish News has highlighted the following,<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>NHS-Israel collaboration to deliver cutting-edge tech to improve mental health (October 18<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Quote,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>NHS will now incorporate the Israeli company Taliaz\u2019s Artificial Intelligence (AI) software platform PREDICTIX, which offers \u201cclinical decision support tools and patient management for psychiatrists and GPs.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><strong><em\/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jewishnews.co.uk\/nhs-israel-collaboration-to-deliver-cutting-edge-tech-to-improve-mental-health\/\">https:\/\/www.jewishnews.co.uk\/nhs-israel-collaboration-to-deliver-cutting-edge-tech-to-improve-mental-health\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please inform me whether there are any Israeli companies involved in any part\/aspect of the proposed psychological support service for Contaminated Blood victims and if so which companies are they?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Given that racist, apartheid Israel is carrying out a genocide against the Palestinian people, a live- streamed Gaza holocaust where families are being starved, denied medical treatment\/equipment, tortured, bombed, targeted by drone quadcopter, hit by snipers and burnt alive will the government ensure Contaminated Blood victims that no Israeli company will be involved in any part of the new service for them as they are already an extremely traumatised patient group many suffering from grief, depression, anxiety and complex PTSD? I understand that there are legal implications regarding doing business, trading with a state committing genocide, plus there are surely guidelines regarding racism in the NHS which would make it extremely controversial to trade with a state practising apartheid and with racist policies.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>I highlight the following words from Baroness Warsi posted on Twitter tonight (X)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I urge you all to follow the official account of the United Nations Peace Keepers in Lebanon who are under attack.<\/strong><strong\/><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/UNIFIL_\">@UNIFIL_<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>Appeasement of Netanyahu has led to this \u2013 nothing is sacred or protected anymore -peacekeepers have become a target \u2013 children are being targeted \u2013 prisoners are being sexually abused -civilian populations are being starved And all while we in the UK continue to supply arms into Israel. This happened on our watch and future generations will be appalled at how the International community allowed this horror to unfold. We saw it on our screens . We had first hand real time accounts from those being targeted. We heard about it from medics who treated the injured and saw the bodies. We were warned by journalists. We had a trial taking place at the ICJ And we had IDF soldiers and Israeli politicians openly making genocidal statements and posting them for the world to see. And yet we let this happen. 2024 \u2013 the year when the international rules based order became a joke<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n<p><strong>Baroness Saeeda Warsi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>And this tonight from Craig Mokhiber, International Lawyer, former UN,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Is this the world we want? The world that allows this endless rampage of genocidal violence, the ugly racism, the rapacious blood lust, the bottomless well of evil, the torture, the massacres, the murder of children, the imposed starvation and disease, the burning tents, the mass graves, the mindless destruction, the laughing soldiers, the chanting settlers, the sadistic politicians. Either the Israeli regime will be defeated, or this world is damned. The suffering of Palestine will be its indictment. Impunity its downfall. In the name of humanity, end this.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur stated the following also,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>For decades Israel has violated intl law, incl UN res. &amp; ICJ orders. This year it has bombed dozens of UN premises, killed hundreds of UN staff, accused UN officials of \u201cterrorism\u201d &amp; \u201cantisemitism\u201d among others. Now it is attacking peacekeepers. When will Israel be <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/hashtag\/UNseated?src=hashtag_click\">#UNseated<\/a>?<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Given the recent Israeli attack using pagers which exploded causing serious and life changing injuries, hands blown off, holes blown in chests and loss of eyes and sight to civilians including doctors and children, what safety assessment has government carried out regarding using Israeli tech, Digital, Artificial Intelligence in our NHS? What are the safety concerns regarding interference with supply lines and the potential for Israel to weaponize any technology supplied to our NHS. We observed how quickly Netanyahu turned against Macron once he started not to comply and reviewed France\u2019s policy on weapons to Israel.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Has the government carried out any safety assessment with regard to data protection and confidentiality specifically related to Israeli companies.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Has the government considered what the psychological impact on infected and affected Contaminated Blood victims might be of using Israeli tech or other companies within our NHS given that Israel is carrying out a genocide and the trauma our haemophiliacs have already suffered. Will haemophiliacs be used as lab rats for Israeli companies?
