A new logo will help shoppers recognise if a product was recycled and remade in Australia.<\/p>\n

Launched in April 2025, \u201cReMade in Australia\u201d is a new brand that identifies genuine products that use recycled content.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The ReMade in Australia logo will be in use from late 2025<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

The logos will make their way onto product packages, and shelves, later this year.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

To display the ReMade in Australia <\/a>logo, products must have a minimum of 20% recycled content, half of which must be Australian made.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

By 2030, the products must use 100% Australian-made recycled content. <\/p>\n

Logo undergoes recycling<\/h2>\n

The new logo will look familiar to astute shoppers; it closely mirrors the iconic green and gold \u201cMade in Australia\u201d logos.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

They were even designed by the same artist, Dr Kenneth Cato. <\/p>\n

The \u201cMade in Australia\u201d campaign has been around since 1986, and is currently used by more than\u00a04,500 businesses.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It\u2019s helped consumers support local products and has helped Aussie businesses compete against multi-national companies.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hoped the ReMade in Australia logo will do the same.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Australian Made team will add the ReMade logo to its portfolio.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAustralian Made Campaign Limited is excited to be partnering with the Australian Government to add another brand to the iconic suite of Australian Made, Australian Grown brands,\u201d Ben Lazzaro, CEO of Australian Made Campaign Limited and ReMade in Australia Limited said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSustainability is increasingly important to Australian consumers and the ReMade in Australia Brand will provide a trusted mark to identify products made with recycled materials, right here in Australia.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

At the logo\u2019s launch, the Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek, said Aussie consumers have shown their support for a circular economy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The ReMade in Australia brand will provide a trusted mark.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cAustralians want to buy Australian, and they want to buy recycled,\u201d she said.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis brand will help people clearly identify and support local manufacturers who are using recycled materials.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
