It has always been a favorite spot of mine to take photos, and it\u2019s open to the public for tours and events.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNew residents should definitely know about the biking and walking trails here,\u201d adds Rebecca, manager of <\/span>Buzzard Billy\u2019s<\/span><\/a>. This laidback restaurant has been a <\/span>Haymarket district<\/span><\/a> staple for over 20 years, specializing in Cajun and American classics and featuring an atomic-era style bar, The Starlite Lounge, just below it. \u201cThese trails are plentiful and beautiful, and some will even lead you right to downtown and Haymarket.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lincoln is a true gem with seasonal farmers markets in various locations throughout the city. With four markets a week, there is always an opportunity to find a healthy farm-to-table meal and connect with your local community. You can come visit us at our Milkweed vendor booth on Wednesdays, too,\u201d Maggie adds. \u201cIt\u2019s a great way to <\/span>get to know Lincoln<\/span><\/a> and its local flavors.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

They sell a variety of whole beans for your <\/span>home coffee station<\/span><\/a>, and I really love their salads as a quick lunch. Jamie, local artist and business owner, has been <\/span>living in Lincoln<\/span><\/a> for almost 55 years. She owns <\/span>Easel & Co.<\/span><\/a> where she offers studio art classes for children ages 5-10, a great place to bring your kids to explore a variety of traditional mediums. \u201cA unique thing to do in Lincoln I love is trying out new and old restaurants,\u201d she says. \u201cMy family\u2019s favorite is <\/span>Itsumo Ramen<\/span><\/a>.
