The Interactive Advertising Bureau South Africa (IAB SA) has announced the appointment of Casey Mantle, Head of Digital at Special Effects\u00a0Media South Africa, as the new Chair of the IAB South Africa Influencer\u00a0Marketing Committee for 2025.<\/p>\n
IAB SA says that Mantle steps into the role following the tenure of Pierre Cassuto, CMO of Humanz, who guided\u00a0the committee through pivotal initiatives, including the release of the Influencer Marketing White Paper \u2014 dedicated to educating the industry about best practice \u2014 and the South African Content Creator Charter \u2014 dedicated to ensuring fair and safe\u00a0disclosure to consumers.<\/p>\n
The committee remains committed to driving thought leadership, industry collaboration and impactful influencer marketing practices in South Africa, adds IAB SA.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“It’s been a privilege to serve as Chair of the IAB Influencer Marketing Committee, and I’m excited to pass the torch to Casey Mantle,” says Cassuto. “I have no doubt that under\u00a0Casey’s leadership, the committee will continue its work in elevating the industry and creating\u00a0meaningful change for both brands and creators.”<\/p>\n
The committee’s focus for 2025 will remain on educating the industry and producing valuable resources. Upcoming projects include the continued promotion of the Influencer Marketing “I am honoured to chair such an esteemed group of industry professionals,” says Mantle. “Together with the committee, we aim to continue building on the incredible work achieved to\u00a0date.
