I know that as this post is going to be released, St Patrick\u2019s Day is behind us. And for some reason that makes me sad because it feels like everybody sort of forgets the happiness of a good pint and some Irish Trad Music.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s something oddly comforting about it for some reason. Beyond the small amounts that most Americans have seen, there is an almost relaxing sort of inviting culture. It\u2019s amazing that the common consensus seems to be that all of Ireland is stereotypically centered around beer, especially a certain beer. <\/p>\n

Why would anyone question this? The beer is good, the fun is good, and you\u2019re going to find that fun anywhere you go. <\/p>\n

Including Ft. Myers. I bring that up after having a pint of The Rowdy Stout<\/strong> (Dry Stout, 4.3% ABV<\/em>).<\/p>\n

It\u2019s brewed at Point Ybel Brewing, just outside Sanibel and Captiva. But it\u2019s also a wonderful collaboration with The Rowdy Bards, a 5 piece Ft. Myers-based Irish band. <\/p>\n

And a solid group. I\u2019m listening to Ghosts in the Barroom right now as a dictate this post. <\/p>\n
