\n\tEXCLUSIVE<\/strong>: Fantasy icon George R.R. Martin<\/a>, billionaire entrepreneur Jimmy Iovine<\/a> and animation veteran Conrad Vernon<\/a> (The Addams Family<\/em>) are advisory board members and stakeholders in new LA-based animation company Bizaar Studios<\/a>, which is launching today.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe outfit has been set up by Iovine\u2019s son, Jeremy Iovine, and Amir Mohamadzadeh, who together previously founded creative agency Rosewood Creative, and film and TV exec Eric Bromberg who will serve as co-founder and President.<\/p>\n

\n\tRosewood\u2019s work has included short films, animations, and marketing campaigns with Dr. Dre, Bono,\u00a0<\/strong>Snoop Dogg,<\/strong>\u00a0Spike Lee\u00a0and LeBron James. Bromberg previously worked at Exile Content Studios and Gunpowder & Sky. He helped drive horror and sci-fi labels Alter and Dust.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe ambitious company is oriented towards adult animation and aims to include development, marketing and distribution of original films and TV series. It will create content in house and acquire third-party material. First projects are due to be revealed soon and additional hires will be made though the scale is to remain streamlined. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe initial slate is said to be largely genre-oriented (\u201chorror, comedy and anime-adjacent\u201d) but is due to expand to all genres. The founders say they have already partnered with dozens of independent animators on projects, including Nate Milton, Ruby Taylor, Vewn, Mr. Friend, and David Romero, with those collaborations already racking up interest on Bizaar Studios\u2019 nascent Instagram. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe founders tell us they will release content via existing social channels but hope to launch their own streaming platform down the line. Content will be available \u201cvia YouTube, IG and TikTok and then via a FAST channel and eventually with originals on both FAST and SVOD. We have plans to eventually launch an O&O channel offering native and innovative global distribution.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cGreat can come from anywhere,\u201d said co-founder Jeremy Iovine. \u201cIt\u2019s our goal to find and partner with creators pushing the art form forward to tell stories that will redefine what people have come to expect from adult animation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBizaar is the destination for mind-bending adult animation,\u201d said Amir Mohamadzadeh. \u201cWe\u2019re building a sanctuary for indie creators and Hollywood veterans alike \u2013 to collaborate, experiment, innovate, and tell stories that challenge conventions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFantasy novelist Martin is best known as the creative source for HBO\u2019s blockbuster Game Of Thrones<\/em> series. Iovine is the former record company exec turned entrepreneur who founded Beats with Dr Dre. Animation vet Vernon has worked on a string of animation hits from Shrek<\/em> to Madagascar 3<\/em>. He directed Sony Pictures\u2019 Sausage Party<\/em> and co-directed MGM\u2019s animated The Addams Family<\/em> movies. <\/p>\n
