In the aftermath, Wisconsin homeowners are increasingly finding themselves in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/wisconsin\/comments\/1ektea2\/state_farm_hates_hail_claims\/\">frustrating battle against unjustly denied claims<\/a> by State Farm, especially concerning hail damage.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-large-font-size is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><cite>\u201cSince 2020, I have sued State Farm over residential roof claims more than 50 times\u2014probably closer to 75,\u201d said Ryan Graff of MGW Law. \u201cAll other carriers combined wouldn\u2019t equal that number.\u201d<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>MGW Law is now representing several affected homeowners. According to the suit, State Farm is \u201cwrongfully and improperly using a standard definition of hail damage to asphalt shingles that is not found anywhere in the policy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd, we\u2019re not going to recognize pure granular loss as hail damage covered by the policy,\u201d Graff explained. \u201cSome carriers do it infrequently.
