Also, can we talk about Gio in <em>that<\/em> dress at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lacma.org\/art\/exhibition\/black-american-portraits\">LACMA\u2019s \u201cBlack American Portraits\u201d<\/a> opening gala!? Okay, I just realized that I ended every sentence with an exclamation point\u2026 but HOW CAN I NOT!? I only had her on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thejealouscurator.com\/blog\/2021\/06\/11\/labor-and-learning\/\">seven months ago<\/a>, but since then her career has exploded\u2026 clearly, we need to hear <em>everything!<\/em> From <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/04\/10\/us\/a-love-letter-to-black-women.html\">articles in the New York Times<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oprah.com\/sp\/juneteenth-artists.html\">interviews on oprah.com<\/a>, to five <strong>(FIVE!) <\/strong>museums acquiring her work! Also, can we talk about Gio in <em>that<\/em> dress at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lacma.org\/art\/exhibition\/black-american-portraits\">LACMA\u2019s \u201cBlack American Portraits\u201d<\/a> opening gala!? Okay, I just realized that I ended every sentence with an exclamation point\u2026 but HOW CAN I NOT!?
