A wine bar has opened its doors in Teneriffe and is already making waves within Brisbane\u2019s hospitality scene. Wild Legs, is the latest venue to hit the Newstead-Teneriffe pocket, leaning into natural, biodynamic, and small-batch wines with a menu to match.<\/p>\n

The idea was born during a tasting at the founders first venture, Adela Wine Bar. Hospitality professionals Manolo Lopez, Silvana Calil, and Holly Tite were swirling and sipping their way through some lesser-known grape varietals when the idea sparked.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe started wondering why there wasn\u2019t a space dedicated entirely to indigenous and overlooked wines \u2013 something niche, but approachable,\u201d said Calil.<\/p>\n

The venue\u2019s interior blends reclaimed textures with warm lighting, European charm, and a soundtrack that sets the tone.<\/p>\n

The wine list features an evolving curation of\u00a095% organic, biodynamic, sustainable, or transitional wines, bringing together boutique producers from Australia, Georgia, Italy, Chile, and more. The emphasis on by the glass pours over bottle service, is designed to encourage exploration rather than sticking to one bottle.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted guests to feel like they could try something different each time \u2013 not just the safe bets,\u201d said Lopez.<\/p>\n

A standout offering is the bar\u2019s\u00a0signature Jabuticaba liquor, crafted in-house using berries grown on\u00a0Mt Tamborine. It\u2019s the star of the venues cocktail, the Fun Spritz\u00a0\u2013 a bright, fruit-forward cocktail that offers a nod to classic spritz culture, while being completely distinctive to the Wild Legs experience.<\/p>\n

Behind the bar\u2019s food concept is culinary duo\u00a0Jean Antoine\u00a0and\u00a0Priscila Horeau. With more than 13 years of experience, their menu features share-style plates, seasonal produce, and bold French-European flavours designed to pair seamlessly with the wine-first philosophy of the venue.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s about elevating simple ingredients and letting the wine lead the conversation,\u201d said Horeau.<\/p>\n

Wild Legs is now open from Wednesday to Sunday and offers a walk-in only policy, with bookings reserved for larger groups and private functions.<\/p>\n
