There is a massive, politically engaged demographic in the United States whose idea of an actualized spirituality is demanding that their government keep giving weapons to an apartheid state which is currently raining military explosives onto a giant concentration camp full of children.<\/p><div class=\"g g-1\"><div class=\"g-single a-6\"><a class=\"gofollow\" data-track=\"NiwxLDEsNjA=\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dontgetpushedaround.com\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"850\" height=\"500\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/AP-AffiliateAd-850x500-LegalShield-1.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m not primarily talking about Jews here. There are an estimated\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/religionmediacentre.org.uk\/factsheets\/factsheet-christian-zionism\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">30 million Christian Zionists<\/a>\u00a0in the United States, which is about twice the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jewish_population_by_country\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">total population of Jews<\/a>\u00a0in the entire world (Zionist and non-Zionist). That\u2019s just members of Christian churches which are explicitly Zionist as a whole; there are also other Americans who support Israel for religious reasons as individuals. Jim Jones himself could not manipulate people into accepting such a thing. Best case scenario, it leads to the shedding of ego and a deep and lasting inner peace.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Religious Zionism is in the exact opposite direction of all this. It makes people worse. It encourages the most horrific things happening in our world today. It nails the mind to a pernicious worldview that is held together by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.middleeastmonitor.com\/specials\/gaza-war\/debunking-israels-lies.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">nonstop lies<\/a>\u00a0and manipulation. It drags human consciousness downward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It says so much about how spiritually shallow and sick western civilization is that such belief systems have become so prevalent and influential. The human heart longs for more.
