With the season picking up at The Inn soon, I also won\u2019t have time to warm up my meals that I bring in, so I\u2019ll need to think more about what I am bringing with me. <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Berries and cream in these cute little mason jars are the perfect size for my lunch sack and are going to be super quick to grab when I have a minute. They are also easy to make. And the coconut cream is not sugar laden, meaning this is actually considered a healthy snack or dessert. <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>Strawberries &amp; Cream<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Serves: 4<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>10 large strawberries<\/p>\n<p>1 \u2013 8.5 ounce can of coconut cream<\/p>\n<p>pure vanilla flavoring<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wash the strawberries in water and 1 tsp baking soda or vinegar. This will help to get rid of any dirt and other things you don\u2019t want. <\/li>\n<li>Slice the strawberries, <a href=\"https:\/\/frugalrecipes.wordpress.com\/2025\/04\/14\/strawberry-vinegar\/\">reserving the tops if you will be making strawberry vinegar<\/a> as well.<\/li>\n<li>Put the slices into little canning jars or other small containers.<\/li>\n<li>Mix a few drops of vanilla in with the coconut cream in a small bowl. Taste for flavor, and add one drop of vanilla at a time, stirring and tasting in between, until you have the vanilla flavor you want.<\/li>\n<li>Spoon the vanilla coconut cream over the strawberries.<\/li>\n<li>Secure the lids.<\/li>\n<li>Refrigerate. They should last three or four days in the fridge depending on how recently picked they were.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Notes: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Try using other berries instead. Blueberries would be nice, or raspberries. I might even try this with blackberries. I noticed the blackberries were cheaper than other berries at Walmart last week. <\/li>\n<li>Maybe use a mix of berries rather than just one type.<\/li>\n<li>You could also try other flavorings. Maybe almond, or orange. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Serving Suggestions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Put in your lunch sack for work.<\/li>\n<li>These would also be great \u201cdesserts\u201d for children\u2019s lunch boxes. <\/li>\n<li>This can be a side for a pasta meal as well.<\/li>\n<li>You can also make them for BBQ\u2019s, or make up a big bowl for any get-together and just let people dish it up on their own.<\/li>\n<li>This would also go well with just about any breakfast, and would be amazing to top French toast, waffles, or pancakes with if you eat those things.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How do you enjoy your berries?
