\nAs my kids love\u00a0chantilly cream, I’ve made a thick layer of matcha filling which is so refreshing and melts in the mouth! The cake is also super soft and fluffy. The bamboo charcoal powder used in this recipe not only contributes to a beautiful and distinctive color, it also has health benefits like absorbing toxins from the body, treats a bloated tummy, hangover etc.\u00a0<\/span>

(makes 2 portions of fillings, \u591f\u505a\u4e24\u4efd\u9985)\u00a0<\/b><\/span>
400g whipping cream \u52a8\u7269\u6027\u9c9c\u5976\u6cb9\u00a0<\/span>
65g caster sugar \u7ec6\u7802\u7cd6\u00a0<\/span>
2 tbsp matcha powder \u62b9\u8336\u7c89\u00a0<\/span>
35ml water \u6c34\u00a0<\/span>

\n1. Mix water gradually into matcha powder until a smooth paste is formed, ensuring there are\u00a0no small lumps.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span> 2. Use an electric mixer to beat the whipping cream and sugar till soft peak. Add in the matcha paste, continue to beat till stiff peak. \u00a0<\/span>

\n4.\u00a0<\/span>Add the meringue into the egg yolk mixture 1\/3 at a time, each time gently mixed well before adding the next.\u00a0<\/span>When done, pour the batter into the baking pan, smoothen the surface. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n4.\u00a0<\/span>\u86cb\u767d\u971c\u5206\u4e09\u6b21\u52a0\u5165\u86cb\u9ec4\u7cca\u91cc\uff0c\u6bcf\u6b21\u8f7b\u8f7b\u6405\u62cc\u5747\u5300\u540e\u518d\u52a0\u5165\u3002<\/span>\u5b8c\u6210\u540e\u5012\u5165\u70e4\u76d8\u4e2d\u62b9\u5e73\u3002<\/span>

5. Bang the baking pan a few times on the worktop to deflate big air bubbles. Put into a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celcius top\/bottom heat and bake for about 15 minutes. (Please adjust temperature and timing according to your own oven.)<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

5. \u8f7b\u6572\u51e0\u4e0b\u70e4\u76d8\u8ba9\u5927\u6c14\u6ce1\u9707\u51fa\u6765\uff0c\u518d\u653e\u5165\u70e4\u7bb1\u4ee5170\u6444\u6c0f\u5ea6\u4e0a\u4e0b\u706b\uff0c\u70e4\u7ea615\u5206\u949f\u81f3\u719f\u3002\uff08\u81ea\u5bb6\u70e4\u7089\u81ea\u5df1\u62ff\u634f\u597d\u6e29\u5ea6\u4e0e\u70d8\u7119\u65f6\u95f4\u3002\uff09<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

6. Remove the cake from the oven, transfer to a wire rack, peel open the sides of the baking paper to cool the cake. Put another piece of baking paper on it, flipped it over and peel off the top baking paper, let cool. <\/p>\n

6. \u53d6\u51fa\u86cb\u7cd5\u8f6c\u79fb\u5230\u51c9\u67b6\u4e0a\uff0c\u6495\u5f00\u56db\u8fb9\u7684\u7eb8\u6563\u70ed\u3002\u94fa\u76d6\u4e00\u5f20\u70d8\u7119\u7eb8\uff0c\u7acb\u523b\u7ffb\u9762\u5012\u6263\uff0c\u6380\u5f00\u5e95\u7eb8\u653e\u51c9\u3002<\/p>\n

1. Cut the charcoal cake into two equal pieces along the shorter side. Take one piece and roll it up with the frozen matcha Chantilly cream. Put it into the freezer to freeze hard. (Repeat the same for the other piece of cake)<\/span><\/i><\/span>
