{"id":189842,"date":"2025-04-17T23:58:20","date_gmt":"2025-04-17T23:58:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/aerospace\/hunnu-air-becomes-first-mongolian-embraer-e195-e2-operator\/"},"modified":"2025-04-17T23:58:20","modified_gmt":"2025-04-17T23:58:20","slug":"hunnu-air-becomes-first-mongolian-embraer-e195-e2-operator","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=189842","title":{"rendered":"Hunnu Air becomes first Mongolian Embraer E195-E2 operator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Hunnu Air has become the first Mongolian Embraer E195-E2 operator, just a day after it was announced that the country\u2019s aviation regulator awarded the aircraft type certification.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The new E195-E2 is the first of two that is being delivered to the airline by the Fort Lauderdale-based lessor Azorra as part of its firm orderbook with Embraer.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Details surrounding the new arrival were announced on April 17, 2025, following a special ceremony attended by executives from Hunnu Air.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flightradar24.com\/\" title=\"\">flightradar24<\/a>, The new E195-E2, registered EI-HUN, left Sao Jose dos Campos Airport (SJK) for Recife Airport (REC) on April 17, 2025, and is currently flying to Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) before arriving in Mongolia on April 19, 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve been an E190 operator since 2019 and the E195-E2 is the perfect extension as we meet growing demand for air travel across Mongolia and beyond. The aircraft\u2019s advanced technology, low noise levels, unbeatable efficiency, and unparalleled passenger comfort make it the ideal choice for airlines looking to grow strategically while optimizing operational costs,\u201d said Martyn Holmes, CCO, Embraer Commercial Aviation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cWe look forward to supporting Hunnu Air\u2019s strategic growth and thank Hunnu Air for their continued partnership and our leasing partner Azorra for their continued collaboration, combining again with Embraer.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"article-leaderboard bn-2\"\/>\n<p>Embraer aircraft have been present in Mongolia since 2018 when its ERJ 145 entered service with Aero Mongolia and in 2019, Hunnu Air followed suit by introducing two E190s.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Azorra CEO and Founder John Evans said he was \u201cthrilled\u201d to deliver Mongolia\u2019s first E195-E2 to Hunnu Air.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a significant step in the growth of Hunnu Air and a major milestone for the future of aviation in Mongolia. This delivery also reinforces our strong partnership with Embraer.
