Sunshine Saturday is one of the most exciting times of the year for anyone looking to book their next holiday, and you might be wondering why. This is the day when travel agents and tour operators offer big discounts on holidays for the year ahead, making it the perfect time for British travellers to lock in a fantastic trip at a great price.

While it’s exciting to score a great deal, it’s just as important to make sure you’re covered with travel insurance as soon as you book your holiday.

Without the right travel insurance, you could be left with unexpected costs if something goes wrong before or during your trip. For example, if a doctor advises you not to travel due to an unforeseen issue, and you don’t have travel insurance, you may not be able to claim back the cost of your holiday. Similarly, if you fall ill while abroad and need medical help, you would be responsible for covering the associated expenses.

Getting travel insurance as soon as you book your trip gives you peace of mind, knowing that both you and your holiday are protected. Whether you’re planning a relaxing beach holiday, a City break, or a cultural retreat, Get Going Travel Insurance is here to ensure that your travels are worry-free. What better way to begin your holiday than knowing you and your loved ones are fully covered?

Sunshine Saturday will fall on 4th January 2025, but many travel agents and tour operators will be offering fantastic deals throughout the festive season and into January.

We’re pleased to announce that Get Going Travel Insurance will be participating in the Sunshine Saturday celebrations!
